Led Zeppelin es una banda de Rock británica formada en 1968 por el guitarrista Jimmy Page, el vocalista Robert Plant, el baterista John Bonham y el bajista John Paul Jones. Es considerada, junto con Deep Purple y Black Sabbath entre otras, una de las fundadoras del Heavy Metal. Su sonido puede ser considerado por los auditorios modernos como suave y experimental, sin embargo, la revolución que causaron en la historia de música ha sido muy profunda, puesto que fueron de los primeros en seguir una línea composiciones más fuertes y centradas en la guitarra.
Jimmy Page es un guitarrista legendario, con solos intrincados y apasionados. Es un aficiona del Ocultismo y hasta fue dueño de un librería especializada en Magia y Ciencias Ocultas.
Robert Plant cuenta con un amplio registro de voz, y se caracteriza por su caracter suave y modesto en el escenario. Su "marcas registradas" eran la pandereta, la armónica y el imitar los sonidos de la guitarra Jimm Page.
John Bonham fue un baterista notable, y murió en un accidente en 1980. En el concierto de reunión de noviembre de 2007 su hijo lo remplazó en el escenario junto con los miembros originales de la banda.
John Paul Jones es un multi-instrumentalista, toca la flauta, el banjo, el piano, la guitarra. Es uno de esos pocos bajistas que intervenía fuertemente en las actividades creativas de la banda, así como Steve Harris de Iron Maiden y Duff McKagan de Guns 'N Iron/Velvet Revolver.
