New features for Gmail

Today Gmail added two new features to the mail service from Google, the first is the ability to tag your messages with colors, and the second is the ability to chat with other AIM contacts within the GTalk.
Tags Color
This functionality will make it easier to recognize the topic of a message, you just have to add a color to an specific group of messages, a feature that will be very useful when searching messages by topic.

Chat with AOL users
With this feature you can use instant messaging through GTalk and chat with AOL users which will have their specific icon.

Web Browsing in iPhone is 0.09%

An impressive 0.09% is the use of iPhone for Internet browsing, which is a significant achievement as compared with others like Windows CE. The advantage could be the easy navigation through Safari.
This shows that the iPhone is going in the way that was expected.

Alexa is wrong

The traffic measured by Alexa ever loses more credibility, it appears that everything it is doing is wrong.
For example recently, in August, it said that YouTube had more visits than Google, but it seems that these errors keeps flowing.
It said that Facebook has more visits than MySpace, which is a community of 200 million people. Comscore said that MySpace has 109 million unique visits per month while Facebook are only 89 million.

Flashphone, make phone calls from your browser

Flashphone is a service that unlike Skype and Yahoo Messenger, you do not have to download any software, you will simply make phone calls from your browser.
Still is in a Beta version, for calling you must register which gives you access to 3 calls per day for a maximum of 3 minutes each, after the Beta testing, the phone calls will be longer and free. Almost all countries are able to use this service.

Firefox 3 Beta 1 ready for download

With Firefox 3, I think that it will become the best browser, actually i think that better than Safari that was recently updated for Windows and noticeably improved.

YouTube will improve your video quality

Steve Chen confirmed that will enhance the video quality shown on YouTube, it will detect the speed connection adn will change the quality automatically according the speed.
The YouTube videos originally showed a quality of 320 x 240 pixels, the usual size of the cellphones, stored in FLV format, and what is being sought is high definition quality, that is why they increased the capacity to upload videos to 1GB.
At 3 months could be this great change.

Still in the beta Windows Live already has its Webmaster Tools, a tool very similar to that of Google, as it seems that they are opening us the doors to post good content to the search engines and increase our visits. However, Google has a lot of advantage because it was his idea.
