2 GB iPod Shuffle

February 26th, 2008

The iPod Shuffle is smaller than a normal iPod, it adheres to your clothes and you will not notice that you are carrying an iPod. Well, Apple has already been prepared to sell these small devices of 1 and 2 GB to $ 49 and $ 69. I think it is the best of iPods because it is simple and very useful because what I watch on an iPod is reproducing music.

February 24th, 2008

With the launch of Firefox Beta 3 seems that Microsoft developers are already working for the improvement of the version 8 of IE.

There were not a lot of details about this version,  how it will look or what would be the new things in this version, simply it is known that there are already selected users that are testing this version. What is known is that if in a very short time it will be launches for the public for the beta testers and that in Mix’08 would be a demonstration of this browser.

DaXian X999, the latest fake iPhone

February 20th, 2008

Already there are many devices resembling an iPhone, are actually clones of the iPhone, this time we will be presenting the last DaXian X999 clone iPhone. It has a 2MP camera, and runs on the Windows Mobile 6 operating system, I think it has no license.

What is most surprising is its price, despite being a copy of the iPhone its selling price is $ 369, close to the price that soon will be the iPhone. My question is: will someone buy this?

Bill Gates will invest on the Web with or without Yahoo!

February 19th, 2008

Bill Gates said that Microsoft will invest in search engines with or without Yahoo! Because he recognizes that the only potential competitor for Microsoft is Google.

He stated that the tender submitted to Yahoo! Was very fair and that the only thing needed was a larger market share of the search engines.

Yahoo! said that the $ 31 Microsoft would pay for each share was poor for the really price this company has.

Now analysts expect that Yahoo! shares climb to $ 35, but Gates insists in its original proposal and insists that it is a fair price.

Performance in Firefox 3

February 18th, 2008

The new release of Firefox in its third version gives a lot to talk about, and a big change from Firefox 2 is memory consumption RAM.

The big difference is the number of open tabs, taking 60 open tabs in Firefox 3 is almost the same as having 20 open tabs in Firefox 2 by the consumption of RAM. As can be seen in figure the more open tabs you have, the more is the difference in consumption relative to its previous version.

iPhone and iPod will cost 100 dollars less

February 18th, 2008

I think the latest Android by Google is the main reason for the rumors, these rumors say that Apple will drop the price by $ 100 over the next two months.

This means that an 2 GB  iPod or 16 GB iPhone would cost $ 399. I think that has a lot to do with the Android by Google.

Google and YouTube in Alexa

February 17th, 2008

Once again it seems that Alexa is wrong in its ranking. This time, according to the ranking of page views, Youtube has the second position over the entire Web surpassing Google by two positions.

It is known that Google receives every month about 100 billion page views, while only 16 YouTube. It is another big mistake Alexa, this time by 84 billion visits.

In small sites is acceptable a margin of error because it had thousands of visits per day, but millions of visits a day makes a big difference.

The first time machine within just three months

February 13th, 2008

It sounds strange but Russian mathematicians predict that travel through the time might be closer to what we thought. In May it will be launched the first time machine in our history.

The operation of the machine is very complicated and involved 2000 scientists from around the world in this great project. This project is based on the theory of relativity by Einstein. The machine will be able to reach high speeds in their particles close to the speed of light which will make possible to create a wormhole (a kind of a portal that connects two parallel universes and allowing to travel space-time).

In this machine will only be possible to travel to the future because it will function as a portal to connect to another time machine created in the future. That is why it is believed that when it is turned on this machine will receive messages from people of the future. Others think that simply sending an object into the future or in this machine will simply be destroyed and will not happen anything.

This means that works or not will be a big step for science to develop future experiments like this.
